Criminal Support — Emergency Response (72h) + Exposure Map
For foreigners — and for the family member, employer or head office abroad acting for them — facing detention, a summons, questioning as a witness or related party, a travel restriction or a tax-debt exit ban. Also for a civil or business dispute that is being treated as a criminal matter. Not a substitute for a defence lawyer: counsel is engaged as part of the response. The working scope is confirmed only after reviewing the circumstances, available records and current requirements.
What you receive
- 01
Intake call in your language and a single point of contact — One named coordinator who speaks your language takes the first call, records the facts once, and becomes the only number the family, the employer and the embassy need.
- 02
72-hour response plan, in writing — Within the first day: who is informed, in what order; which documents are secured; which counsel is engaged; what the detained person should and should not sign; and the next three decision points with their dates.
- 03
Defence counsel engaged and briefed — A licensed criminal defence lawyer from our vetted panel — chosen for the type of matter and your language — engaged under mandate, briefed with the facts file, and introduced to you with fees disclosed.
- 04
Consular notification and interpreter arranged — Notification to your embassy or consulate in the form they accept, and a qualified interpreter for every official interaction — so nothing is signed in a language you do not read.
- 05
Family and employer briefing channel — A bilingual daily update to the people you authorise — spouse, parent, HR, head office — in their time zone, with the agreed level of detail and nothing speculative.
- 06
Exposure Map — six areas, graded — A written assessment of where you actually stand across personal tax, residence status, work authorisation, contracts, accounts and funds, and business relationships — each graded red, amber or green with its basis, owner and next date. This is the document every later decision is made from.
Delivery routes
Choose the level of support that fits your capacity, timing and desired control. Each party's role is confirmed before work begins.
This package runs as Route C by design: LotusGuard coordinates; licensed counsel conducts the defence. Route A applies to the Exposure Map on its own.
Route A — You act, we guide
you keep execution; LotusGuard provides the costed roadmap, working notes and review checkpoints.
Route B — We execute under mandate
LotusGuard prepares and files the agreed work within the written authority.
Route C — Independent third-party QC
where a licensed specialist is required, LotusGuard vets the provider, holds one timeline and supervises delivery for a disclosed management fee.
Timing and quote
Fees are fixed against the scope stated in the quote and applied consistently. The quote identifies included work, exclusions, assumptions and any pass-through costs (government fees, translation, notarisation, third-party counsel).
Legal notice
LotusGuard coordinates your response and keeps one timeline: evidence organisation, interpretation, consular notification, family communication and liaison with counsel. Defence before investigators, prosecutors and courts is conducted by licensed Vietnamese defence counsel engaged under the LotusGuard mandate, with the relationship and fees disclosed. LotusGuard does not advise on how to evade an investigation, does not hold your passport, and does not promise any outcome from the authorities. Emergency contact is acknowledged within the response time stated in your engagement letter. This is an independent advisory deliverable, not a legal opinion issued by a licensed law practice.
