Criminal Support — Full Case + Family Concierge / Readiness Retainer
Two forms. Full Case: for a foreigner and their family facing a proceeding from start to finish, including appeal, detention visits, housing and schooling continuity and media handling. Readiness Retainer (for companies): a pre-registered response for your foreign staff — identity files held, counsel panel on call, consular templates ready — so the first hour is already planned. The working scope is confirmed only after reviewing the circumstances, available records and current requirements.
What you receive
- 01
Full-case coordination across every stage — Investigation, prosecution, trial and appeal handled as one matter: one counsel team, one evidence file, one timeline, one report — with the stage strategy re-agreed in writing at each decision.
- 02
Family concierge — Detention visit scheduling and permitted items, housing and lease continuity, children's school communication, medical needs inside and outside, money transfers for legal costs documented correctly — one coordinator for the family, in their language and time zone.
- 03
Employer and head-office channel — For the company: a single briefing line to HR and the parent company, labour-contract and work-permit consequences mapped, and a communication plan so the matter is handled accurately and without speculation.
- 04
Status and exit planning — Residence, work permit, travel restriction and any deportation or exit-ban decision tracked and acted on alongside the case, including the lawful route out of Vietnam if that is the outcome you choose.
- 05
Readiness retainer for companies: pre-registered response — For each enrolled foreign employee: an identity and document file held securely, consular notification templates in their language, a vetted counsel panel on call, and a written first-hour protocol for HR — tested once a year.
- 06
Quarterly exposure review (retainer) — Each quarter, the six-area Exposure Map refreshed for the enrolled staff and the company: tax debts that could trigger an exit ban, permit expiries, contract disputes drifting toward a criminal framing.
- 07
After the case: record and recovery — A closed-file record of what happened and how it was resolved, the documents you may need for future visas or background checks abroad, and a plan to restore residence, banking and employment standing.

Legal notice
LotusGuard coordinates your response and keeps one timeline: evidence organisation, interpretation, consular notification, family communication and liaison with counsel. Defence before investigators, prosecutors and courts is conducted by licensed Vietnamese defence counsel engaged under the LotusGuard mandate, with the relationship and fees disclosed. LotusGuard does not advise on how to evade an investigation, does not hold your passport, and does not promise any outcome from the authorities. Emergency contact is acknowledged within the response time stated in your engagement letter. This is an independent advisory deliverable, not a legal opinion issued by a licensed law practice.
